- The maximum BTU for air conditioners is 14,000 per household.
- When an Air Conditioner is installed in place of a window, the plywood must be painted white to maintain uniform and tidy looking buildings, and if plywood is not used, the alternative is clear plexiglass.
- A proper 14 gauge (outdoor gauge) extension cord is to be used with the air conditioner if it cannot be plugged directly into the wall plug.
- Air conditioners must not be installed before May 1 each year and must be removed by October 31 each year.
- Doors and windows must be kept closed when air conditioners are in use.
